Gab 1 : Steven Bonner

Thanks to everyone who came out last week for our 1st Gab event at Citizen M in Glasgow. It was great to catch up with some familiar faces and meet lots of new ones. We were treated to a short talk by talented illustrator Steven Bonner who spoke about his experience as a freelancer and how he has built up his business and experience. 

The 1st event was a great success and we are busy planning the next one. Watch this space for more news!

Tasty New Client

New clients don't come much tastier than the latest one that's entered the world of JamHot. We're delighted to be working with a brand new gourmet burger concept restaurant soon to be opening their first outlet in the fair city of glasgow. 

More details to follow... for now we must engage in some vigorous taste test research. See you on the other side.

A Get Together For Creative Folk

We're delighted to announce the launch of our new event series - Gab : A Get Together For Creative Folk. 

We think working in the creative industries is great, and think Glasgow is a great place to do this. We've grown our business on the back of meeting and working with both established and new creative people from designers to developers, animators to sound designers, illustrators to games developers, musicians to directors. The one thing they all have in common is their passion, dedication and love for what they do. 

At JamHot we love meeting up with likeminded people so we have decided to start a new series of events in Glasgow for Glasgow. Initially the plan is for these to consist of an informal and inspiring breakfast chat and get together every second month and to have a pub based evening get together every quarter. We really want to grow a regular, vibrant meet up for creative people in the city and hopefully the event will grow from there. 

So... we would love to invite you to the first event. We hope you can come along.

New Client : Promote YT

Following another exciting new client win for the JamHot crew, we're delighted to announce that we have been appointed by Promote YT as their new creative agency with our first project being the development of a new brand and visual style for the organisation.

Promote YT is the national development organisation for youth theatre arts in Scotland with an impresive membersip of over 100 registered youth theatre groups who engage with over 17,000 young people in Scotland each year. JamHot's capability and experience in both arts and youth marketing fits perfectly with Promote YT's ambitious and forward looking plans, and we can't wait to get stuck right in to working with their great team over the next few months.

New Client : Midlothian Council

Busy times at JamHot towers as we welcome another great new client into our world. We've just been appointed to work with our new friends over at Midlothian Council on a new community sports hub website for Midlothian Active Community - showcasing all of the sporting clubs and activities on offer throughout the region for kids, adults and older people. 

Although delighted with the new win, Graeme felt rather guilty turning up at a sports based meeting with 4 cases of Krispy Kreme doughnuts in the car, but he was under strict instructions to bring them back to Glasgow. Hopefully our work on the project will lead us from the path of doughnut temptation in to more wholesome lifestyles. We can but hope.

New Work : Britannia

Good times at JamHot HQ as we launch a brand new campaign for one of the country's leading visitor attractions (and the Queen's former home) The Royal Yacht Britannia. 

The new campaign was commissioned to mark the 60th Anniversary of the launch of Britannia which occurs this year. To celebrate we created a commemorative 60th anniversary logo and a new illustration based campaign that runs across digital, outdoor, press and print formats. The campaign launches across Scotland and parts of England this month as Britannia look to celebrate their special occasion and welcome visitors old and new to this great attraction.

New Work : Dance House

The weather may be telling us something different, but at JamHot spring has sprung with the launch of the new Dance House spring season brochure. Having planned the outdoor photoshoot when the weather was glorious we were then faced with rain and snow so it's a miracle that we managed to get an hour window to get our photoshoot done. We have to thank our dancers who braved the cold weather along the Clydeside.
