New Work : Britannia

Good times at JamHot HQ as we launch a brand new campaign for one of the country's leading visitor attractions (and the Queen's former home) The Royal Yacht Britannia. 

The new campaign was commissioned to mark the 60th Anniversary of the launch of Britannia which occurs this year. To celebrate we created a commemorative 60th anniversary logo and a new illustration based campaign that runs across digital, outdoor, press and print formats. The campaign launches across Scotland and parts of England this month as Britannia look to celebrate their special occasion and welcome visitors old and new to this great attraction.

New Work : Dance House

The weather may be telling us something different, but at JamHot spring has sprung with the launch of the new Dance House spring season brochure. Having planned the outdoor photoshoot when the weather was glorious we were then faced with rain and snow so it's a miracle that we managed to get an hour window to get our photoshoot done. We have to thank our dancers who braved the cold weather along the Clydeside.

Branding & Exhibition Work

Nothing makes us happier than nice new projects coming in to the studio, so we've been smiling a lot recently as the jobs have been tumbling in! One project that we're loving working on this month is for our friends at EventScotland. We're working with the national events agency on a nice little design and branding project to create Scotland's presence at the upcoming Sport Accord conference in Russia. We're working with them on exhibition design & branding, advertising and other promotional items which will be winging their way to Russia very soon.

Bringing the Youth Olympics to Glasgow

One of the things we're most looking forward to this year is continuing to work with the Glasgow 2018 bid team as their lead creative agency to help bring the Youth Olympic Games to Glasgow. The host city decision is due to be made this year and we'll be doing everything we can to help Glasgow come out on top.

The Mighty EICA

The JamHot team were out and about this weekend at the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena. We were commissioned to produce a series of on-line videos as part of the content strategy for the new Edinburgh Leisure and EICA websites. 

Part of the shoot involved taking a head mounted go-pro camera round the very scary Aerial Assault course, 100m above the ground! Not for the feint hearted!

Radio Superstars

Graeme and our illustrator friend Barry had a very unusual start to the week, when they were both guests on Glasgow Uni's Sub City Radio to chat about our recent work for the Tron Theatre for their upcoming performance of Ulysees. 

Having tackled the challenging brief (and the huge book!!) by putting together a 'bluffers guide' for the Tron to promote the upcoming performance, their arts show was interested in speaking to us about how we approached the job. It was quite nerve wracking to have to speak on mic... and when Barry had to describe a chapter in the book using the term 'Male Genitalia' it reminded us of this great scene from the Howard Stern film Private Parts.

New Client at JamHot HQ

Happy days at JamHot HQ - we've just won a new arts client in the form of Glasgow's prestegious Tramway arts venue. 

Situsted in Glasgow's south side Tramway is an international art-space which commissions, produces and presents contemporary arts projects. Tramway’s vision is to inspire and add to our understanding of today’s world by connecting audiences and artists.

We're going to be working with them on design for an upcoming performance, and are delighted to add Tramway to our roster of current arts clients.

New Brand Campaign Launches for Ocean Terminal

It's been busy times at JamHot HQ - in between moving studio and buying huge beanbags we've also found time to do a bit of work too. We've been working with our friends at Ocean Terminal to create a new brand campaign and the 1st in the series of the new look and feel for the centre has just been completed - an autumn fashion campaign.

We're now working with Ocean Terminal to roll out the campaign across press, outdoor and on-line, with the full campaign taking effect towards the end of the month. We're also working with the centre to design and develop a brand new website, with different versions for desktop, mobile and tablet. We're looking forward to getting it all launched so that we can get around to the important task of lounging about in our giant beanbags!
