We've been enjoying the sweet sweet sounds of the new Kassidy album in the JamHot studio over the last week. The new album One Man Army from these Scottish lads is absolutely cracking and if you haven't heard it already you should get right on it! What's more - one of the band members is the son of one of our awesome suppliers David Fingland from Service Graphics. So get on iTunes and get it bought!

We're delighted that we've just been appointed to design a new website for the experimental music tastemakers Volcanic Tongue.
Run by musician Heather Leigh and The Wire's renowned music critic David Keenan, the team operate their worldwide mail order business from their cool Finnieston record shop, serving up an eclectic mix of underground and experimental music. Their physical record store is one of Glasgow's hidden gems - and an outstanding example of what sadly is fast becoming a thing of the past as people consume their music digitally.
We love music and people who are mega passionate about what they do so this is a dream project for us at JamHot. We'll be working with Volcanic Tongue on a new e-commerce site, developing the digital side of their business as they look to grow their already impressive worldwide reach as underground music specialists.

At JamHot HQ we're massive music fans. With huge collections and avid users of spotify, last FM, iTunes and internet radio when we say this baby we were very very excited:
Now pride of place in the studio our awesome Sonos system allows us to pool all the music from our computers and on-line services and create plalists through the iPhone and iPad controller. One of the best pieces of kit we can come across in a very long time and we can't recommend it highly enough. If you love music you will definately love this!

There was some friday joy as some of us managed to secure tickets to see Noel Gallagher - at his first Scottish date since leaving Oasis, at The Usher Hall in Edinburgh this October. To say we cannae wait would be a slight understatement. In the meantime if you haven't heard it, here's his new single.

About this time last year we were all excited about heading the the Download festival to see the mighty AC/DC, Aerosmith, Slash and Rage! This summer there's sadly no download festival tickets kicking about the JamHot studio... but we do have the mighty new DVD playing on rotation. If you haven't seen it then please do!
