Gab30 at SWG3.

Last night we hosted a sold out audience at SWG3 for en evening of creative chat at Gab30.

It was a big event compared to our usual set up at Sloans, with twice as many folk grabbing tickets. We’ll admit to being a bit nervous about the step up, wondering whether enough folk would be interested in coming along, but it was such a great night and the venue was packed. Huge thanks to everyone who came along and supported the event - we appreciate it a lot.

We were treated to a great talk from Simon Dixon, one of the Co-Founders of London design studio Dixon Baxi. It was excellent to get an insight into how they go about their work and take a peek behind the scenes.

As if that wasn’t enough, we also had excellent talks from Glasgow photographer Ryan Johnston and musician & composer Malcolm Lindsay, who did an excellent job of stepping in at the last minute as Eilidh was unable to join us due to exciting filming commitments.

All ticket proceeds from the event were donated to Glasgow NE Foodbank, thanks to everyone who contributed.

That’s our events wrapped up for ’22 and after a break over the festive period we’ll get back planning something to kick off ’23.
